According to Smart Analytics Global, the smart glasses market is expected to expand by 85% year-over-year in 2026, with more than 15 million units shipped globally. The category is transitioning from early adopters to broader consumer acceptance.
Currently, Meta holds a leading position in this segment with its Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses and is expected to maintain a 64% market share by the end of 2026. Google and Samsung’s joint venture is likely to gain significant traction, potentially securing 18% of the market with 2 million units. Their collaboration with fashionable eyewear brands could further enhance their market presence.
Additionally, Samsung is preparing to enter the market independently with its Galaxy-branded smart glasses, anticipated to launch later this year.
