Will Samsung TVs soon feature Google Photos and Gemini Nano Banana integration?

Samsung is set to enhance its TVs with Google Photos integration, allowing users to relive their cherished memories on the largest screen in their homes. This feature will be available through a software update in early 2026, enabling users to view their Google Photos content in a cinematic format, organized by moments, people, and places. Initially debuting with Samsung’s new TVs, the feature will extend to select older models starting in March 2026.

The integration aims to seamlessly incorporate Google Photos into Samsung’s TV software, utilizing the Vision AI Companion to highlight memories throughout the day. Photos and videos will appear contextually on the Daily+ and Daily Board screens.

In the latter half of 2026, Samsung plans to introduce image generation and editing capabilities powered by Google’s Gemini Nano Banana model. Users will be able to create and transform images with themed templates, remix art styles, and convert still photos into short videos.

Additionally, the Google Photos feature will support slideshow viewing based on themes such as beach, hiking, or specific locations like Dubai or London.
