The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is anticipated to be Samsung’s most advanced foldable smartphone to date. Traditionally, the Galaxy Z Fold series, despite its higher price compared to Galaxy S Ultra models, has lagged behind in camera performance. However, this may change with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, which is rumored to incorporate some of the camera features and capabilities of the Galaxy S26 Ultra. The new foldable is expected to offer enhanced image detail and superior low-light performance. Additionally, significant upgrades in image processing and camera software are anticipated. While four of its cameras are said to use the same sensors as the Galaxy Z Fold 7, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is expected to support video LUTs for live color grading and simultaneous video recording with both front and rear cameras. In contrast, the Galaxy Z Fold 8, which is expected to be slightly less expensive and equipped with only two rear cameras, may not benefit from these camera enhancements. Recent reports suggest that the Galaxy Z Fold 8 will feature a 50MP primary rear camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and two 10MP front-facing cameras.
