Has Arabic AI startup Nanovate raised $2M to expand in the GCC?

Cairo-based AI startup Nanovate has successfully secured $2 million in a pre-seed funding round led by angel investors. Founded in early 2025 by Nancy Madbouly and Ahmed Gamal, the company specializes in developing comprehensive Arabic AI solutions, including chat and voice agents, automation systems, and a no-code AI deployment dashboard. With backing from MINT Incubator, EG Bank, and Raya FutureTECH Accelerator, Nanovate aims to expand its operations into Saudi Arabia and the UAE. The startup plans to enhance its CRM and ERP integrations, invest in AI research and development, and grow its team across various sectors. Nanovate has launched a beta version of its AI dashboard, allowing businesses to create Arabic chat agents without code, integrating language understanding, speech and emotion AI, and workflow automation. Co-founder and CEO Ahmed Gamal emphasized the company’s mission to elevate Arabic AI innovation, aiming to become a leader in the regional AI infrastructure.
