Tribe Stays, a premium managed-hospitality company, has successfully raised $2.8 million in a seed funding round. The investment was spearheaded by Artha Venture Fund and supported by RiverWalk Holdings, along with contributions from notable individuals like Kunal Khanna and Krishna Jain. The funds will be utilized to expand Tribe’s presence through its three luxury sub-brands: Tribe Student Accommodation, Tribe Commune, and Tribe Suites. Currently operating 650 beds in Pune, the company plans to add 1,000 more this financial year, with aspirations to reach 25,000 beds in major cities including Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Gurugram, and Pune.
Yogesh Mehra, the founder and CEO, emphasized that the funding validates Tribe’s vision to transform living experiences for young Indians by offering more than just accommodation. He highlighted the company’s commitment to providing a premium lifestyle through well-designed spaces and hospitality-driven services. Anirudh Damani from Artha Venture Fund expressed confidence in Tribe’s potential to set new standards in the managed-living sector, addressing a significant market for premium student and professional housing with a scalable and profitable approach. Jai Sumer Singh from Riverwalk Holdings noted Tribe’s strong foundation in hospitality and real estate, positioning it as a future leader in the premium co-living space.
