Can Jentic’s AI product revolutionize the tech industry?

Sean Blanchfield, co-founder of Jentic, believes his new venture could be one of the last businesses not replaced by AI. Having founded Demonware and served as director of the National Digital Research Centre, Blanchfield has a history of success in tech. Jentic, established in 2024 with co-founders Dorothy Creaven, Michael Cordner, and Dr. Tilman Schaefer, aims to integrate AI safely into commercial systems, enhancing business operations. Blanchfield is convinced that AI will revolutionize software companies, predicting a future where customers can generate their own products. He sees a multibillion-euro market in AI integration with commercial software, emphasizing the need for systems that bridge company data and AI platforms. Jentic’s potential has already been recognized, securing backing from Amazon Web Services and a €4 million pre-seed funding round. The company has expanded from four to 23 employees and is preparing to launch its first enterprise products. Blanchfield’s experience in middleware technology and his entrepreneurial journey, which began at Trinity College Dublin, have equipped him for this ambitious project. His previous venture, Demonware, revolutionized online gaming services and was acquired by Activision Blizzard. Now, with Jentic, Blanchfield aims to elevate the standards for Irish tech companies.
