Can a new AI product from the founder of Demonware revolutionize the industry?

Sean Blanchfield, known for founding Demonware, has launched a new venture, Jentic, alongside co-founders Dorothy Creaven, Michael Cordner, and Dr. Tilman Schaefer. Established in 2024, Jentic aims to safely integrate AI into commercial systems, addressing the growing need for businesses to connect their data with AI platforms. Blanchfield believes this integration could become a multibillion-euro market, as AI continues to advance rapidly. Jentic has already caught the attention of Amazon Web Services, being the first Irish company selected for its generative AI accelerator program. The company has also secured €4 million in pre-seed funding, enabling it to expand its team and develop its first enterprise products. Blanchfield’s previous experience with middleware technology and his entrepreneurial journey, which began during his studies at Trinity College Dublin, have shaped his vision for Jentic. He previously co-founded Phorest and Demonware, the latter of which was acquired by Activision Blizzard in 2007. Now, with Jentic, Blanchfield is eager to push the boundaries of AI integration and elevate the success of Irish tech companies.
