Apple has introduced an impressive lineup of over 12 new products and accessories this year. The year began with the launch of a second-generation AirTag in January, followed by a diverse array of devices in March. Highlights include the MacBook Neo, the iPhone 17e, two updated Studio Display models, and enhanced iPad Air models featuring the M4 chip.
The new AirTag boasts a second-generation Ultra Wideband chip, enhancing the Precision Finding feature by extending its range by 50%. It also includes an upgraded Bluetooth chip for improved range outside of Precision Finding mode and a 50% louder speaker.
In honor of Black History Month, Apple introduced the Black Unity Connection Braided Solo Loop for the Apple Watch, featuring the Pan-African flag colors.
The iPhone 17e retains the design of its predecessor but includes the A19 chip, MagSafe technology, a second-generation C1X modem for faster 5G, and a starting storage of 256GB, maintaining the $599 price point in the U.S.
The new iPad Air’s significant upgrades include the M4 chip, 12GB of RAM, Wi-Fi 7 support with the N1 chip, and the C1X modem for cellular models.
The MacBook Air now features the M5 chip and a 512GB base storage, with a price increase to $1,099. It also supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6, thanks to the N1 chip, and includes Apple’s 40W Dynamic Power Adapter.
High-end 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models received M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, faster SSD speeds, and 1TB base storage, with improved battery life and N1 chip support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.
The regular Studio Display now supports Thunderbolt 5 and improved speakers, while the new Studio Display XDR offers a 120Hz refresh rate, mini-LED backlighting, and increased brightness.
The MacBook Neo, starting at $599, is available in various colors and features the A18 Pro chip, a 13-inch display, up to 512GB of storage, and 8GB of RAM.
AirPods Max 2 introduces the H2 chip, enhanced noise cancellation, improved sound quality, and features like Adaptive Audio and Live Translation.
The special-edition Nike Powerbeats Pro 2 features a two-tone design with Nike’s signature Volt color.
Looking ahead, Apple is anticipated to release a new smart home hub alongside a more personalized Siri, a foldable iPhone, a MacBook Pro with an OLED display, and updates to the Apple TV, HomePod, and HomePod mini later this year.
