Humble has unveiled its groundbreaking autonomous, cabless electric freight platform after securing $24 million in seed funding. This funding round, led by Eclipse with contributions from Energy Impact Partners and others, aims to advance vehicle development, enhance the company’s autonomy stack, and support early manufacturing and pilot deployments. Humble’s innovative vehicle, the Humble Hauler, eliminates the traditional driver cab, resulting in a lighter and more efficient design ideal for modern logistics settings such as warehouses and ports. The vehicle uses a combination of camera, LiDAR, and radar systems for comprehensive environmental awareness, paired with sophisticated AI models for autonomous operation. Its electric powertrain not only reduces fuel costs and maintenance but also aligns with sustainability goals. Targeting the $900 billion U.S. trucking market, Humble seeks to address driver shortages and supply chain inefficiencies with its fully automated freight solution. Founded by Eyal Cohen, with a team drawn from leading tech and automotive companies, Humble developed its first prototype in under six months and is now collaborating with logistics partners for testing and commercialization. The company’s full-stack approach integrates hardware, AI, and electrification, positioning it as a leader in autonomous and sustainable freight operations.
