Arthur Levinson will become the lead independent director. Cook has been Apple’s CEO since 2011. Ternus, known for his product-focused approach, will join the board before taking over as CEO. He is expected to oversee the launch of the iPhone 18 Pro and Apple’s first foldable iPhone. Johny Srouji will assume an expanded role as Chief Hardware Officer, reporting to Ternus.
