Apple is preparing to introduce two new “Ultra” products over the next year. The first is a foldable iPhone, named the “iPhone Ultra,” which will be the highest-end model, launching alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. However, it will not be part of the iPhone 18 lineup, similar to how the iPhone Air was separate from the iPhone 17 series. The launch of the iPhone Ultra may be slightly delayed and availability limited. Additionally, Apple plans to unveil a “MacBook Ultra” either later this year or in early 2027. This device will feature an OLED panel and touchscreen, positioned above the MacBook Pro at a much higher price. Originally set for release this year, the launch has been postponed due to memory supply chain issues. Apple already has products with “Ultra” branding, including M-series chips, the Apple Watch Ultra, and CarPlay Ultra, with potential plans for “AirPods Ultra” in the future.
