Samsung has announced the release dates for the One UI 8.5 update. Initially, the update will be available in South Korea on May 6, followed by a broader release starting May 11 across Europe, Hong Kong, India, Latin America, North America, Southeast Asia, and Taiwan. The Galaxy S25 series, including the Edge and FE models, will be the first to receive the update. Subsequently, the rollout will extend to the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Tab S11 series, and Galaxy Tab S10 series. Older flagship models and several midrange smartphones, such as the Galaxy A56, A55, and A36, will receive the update at a later stage.
