Is Barcelona considering young wingers as backup options?

Barcelona’s search for a new left-winger is intensifying, with the club having scouted Norwegian talent Antonio Nusa over ten times. Known for his speed and skill, Nusa has been on the club’s radar for some time. Although a move for him did not materialize last year, Barcelona’s interest remains, especially after Nusa expressed his childhood admiration for the club, stating, “When I was younger, my team was FC Barcelona, but now I am neutral.”

In addition to Nusa, Barcelona is also monitoring Monaco’s Eliesse Ben-Seghir as a potential addition. Despite these options, the club’s primary targets are Liverpool’s Luis Diaz and Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford. However, signing Diaz could prove challenging due to interest from Bayern Munich, which might increase his transfer fee. Rashford is also in high demand, with Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho keen to leverage their past relationship to secure his loan move.

As Barcelona navigates these complex negotiations, the pursuit of a new left-winger remains competitive, with Nusa and Ben-Seghir as viable alternatives if deals for Diaz and Rashford become unattainable.
