The One UI 8.5 update has begun its rollout for the Galaxy Tab S10 FE series, starting in South Korea. Both Wi-Fi and cellular models are receiving the update, with a broader release expected to follow globally by the end of the month. Users can download the update via the device’s Settings under the Software update section.
This latest version introduces a refreshed design featuring transparent blur effects and floating UI elements. Enhancements to Bixby now allow for better natural language understanding and easier access to past conversations. The lock screen has also been improved with automatic layout adjustments for wallpapers, expanded clock customization, and new interactive wallpaper options.
Connectivity sees upgrades with improved Storage Share features across Samsung devices, enhanced Auto Hotspot, and quicker Smart View connections. Additionally, One UI 8.5 enables file and media sharing with Apple devices through Quick Share and AirDrop, initially limited to select Galaxy devices, with broader compatibility anticipated in the coming months.
