How can you bypass the Siri AI waitlist on macOS 27 beta?

Users of the macOS 27 Golden Gate developer beta who are on the Siri AI waitlist can activate the virtual assistant immediately using a Terminal command. It’s assumed that users are running the beta on a test machine and are comfortable using Terminal. While the workaround is reportedly safe, users should ensure their data is backed up, as the responsibility for data loss lies with them. The workaround does not need to be undone once officially accepted from the waitlist. Siri AI is currently unavailable for iPhone and iPad users in the EU due to DMA regulations but can be accessed on Mac and Vision Pro. To enable Siri AI, open Terminal and enter the command: `sudo defaults write “/Library/Preferences/FeatureFlags/Domain/GenerativeModels.plist” “EnhancedSiriWaitlist” -dict-add Enabled -bool NO`, then restart the Mac to apply changes. Post-restart, users can engage in interactive conversations with Siri, which syncs across devices via iCloud. Siri AI offers enhanced personal context understanding, enabling comprehensive searches and app actions. On Mac, Siri is integrated into Spotlight and accessible via right-click context menus. Initially, Siri AI is available only in English.
