Apple has introduced several innovative features to Safari in iOS 27, enhancing its functionality through Apple Intelligence. One major update is the automatic organization of tabs by topic, which simplifies browsing by grouping related websites together. Users can activate this feature in the tab view settings, enabling seamless navigation between different subjects like shopping for furniture or planning a trip. Additionally, Safari now offers custom extensions, allowing users to personalize their browsing experience using AI-driven tools. These extensions can boost productivity, enhance focus, and even add creative flair to web pages. Another notable feature is the “Notify Me” option, which alerts users to changes on monitored websites, useful for tracking concert ticket sales or product availability. Safari also assists in strengthening security by automatically updating weak passwords. For parents, the “Ask to Browse” feature provides greater control over children’s internet access. Performance enhancements ensure faster loading times and improved power efficiency. However, these advanced features require Apple Intelligence, available on iPhone 15 Pro and later models. iOS 27 is currently in beta and expected to launch in fall 2026, coinciding with new iPhone releases.
