Is the Galaxy S27 Pro getting the Ultra’s Privacy Display feature?

The Galaxy S27 Pro is anticipated to launch next year alongside the Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27+, and Galaxy S27 Ultra. This model is rumored to be a more compact version of the Galaxy S27 Ultra, but it will not include the S Pen stylus. A recent leak suggests that the S27 Pro might incorporate advanced display features from the Galaxy S26 Ultra to enhance privacy.

Samsung is reportedly testing a Privacy Display feature for the Galaxy S27 Pro, which was first introduced with the Galaxy S26 Ultra. This technology restricts screen visibility from side angles, offering additional privacy. Although currently exclusive to the Ultra model, this feature might be available on the Galaxy S27 Pro early next year.

Speculations highlight that the Galaxy S27 Pro will come with a 6.5-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, offering QHD+ resolution and a variable refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz. For photography enthusiasts, the device might feature a 12MP front camera, a 200MP main rear camera, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens with a 3.5x optical zoom.

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chip, the phone is expected to have at least 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It will likely operate on One UI 9.5 and benefit from seven years of software updates. Additional features may include an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, stereo speakers, fast wireless charging, and Samsung Pay.

By omitting the S Pen, Samsung could allocate more internal space for a larger battery. Despite its smaller size compared to the Ultra series, the Galaxy S27 Pro is rumored to house a 5,000mAh battery, supporting 45W wired fast charging and 20W fast wireless charging.
