Has Samsung finally updated the Galaxy A24 with One UI 8.5?

Samsung has commenced the rollout of One UI 8.5 to its Galaxy A24 smartphone, initially targeting the South Korean model, SM-A245N. This anticipated update is substantial, with a size of 2,400MB and firmware version A245NKSU9FZF1. Users can check for its availability by navigating to Settings > Software update > Download and install, though they should expect longer download and installation times due to the update’s magnitude. One UI 8.5, built on Android 16 QPR2, introduces a refreshed user interface featuring a transparent blur effect and floating bottom bars in Samsung’s native apps. Additionally, it includes new functionalities such as Apple AirDrop support, partial screen recording, and direct voicemail. The update will be gradually available to other regions in the coming days.
