Which Four Apps Are Being Removed from Apple Watch with watchOS 27?

Apple’s upcoming watchOS 27 will see significant changes as it removes four built-in apps from all supported Apple Watch models. The Find Devices, Find People, and Find Items apps are being consolidated into a single, map-centric Find My app. This new app will simplify the process of locating people, devices, and items, offering quick access to directions and nearby items, along with Precision Finding for paired devices. Additionally, flexible sharing options will enhance control over location and item tracking. Meanwhile, the Walkie-Talkie app is being completely eliminated, disappearing from both the app list and Control Center without any option for restoration. Initially launched in 2018, Walkie-Talkie allowed users to exchange voice clips over Wi-Fi or cellular but faced issues like eavesdropping bugs. Although watchOS 27 is still in the early beta phase, these changes could be finalized when the software is officially released, likely in September alongside the new iPhone 18 Pro models.
