When will the iPhone 18 Pro and Ultra launch?

Apple is expected to unveil its new iPhone 18 Pro models and the much-anticipated foldable iPhone on September 8, 2026. However, due to Labor Day falling on September 7, the announcement could also occur on September 9. Apple traditionally introduces its latest iPhones in September, typically on the first Tuesday or Wednesday following Labor Day, allowing the company to have the phones available for sale by mid-September. This timing is strategically beneficial for Apple, as it enables the inclusion of new iPhone sales in the fourth-quarter financial results and ensures ample stock for the holiday season. The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max are expected to feature advancements such as a smaller Dynamic Island, an A20 Pro chip, a next-generation C2 modem, simplified camera controls, and an improved main camera with variable aperture. Meanwhile, the foldable iPhone is anticipated to offer a 7.8-inch inner display, a 5.5-inch cover display, an A20 chip, a C2 modem, a Touch ID power button, and dual rear cameras, with a possible price tag of $2,000 or more. This foldable model might be launched as the “iPhone Ultra.”
