What features should iOS 27 bring back to iPhone?

Over the years, Apple’s iPhone has seen substantial evolution, with each new iOS version enhancing performance, design, and user experience. Yet, some older features still hold a special place in the hearts of many users. Although iOS 27 is still on the horizon, there are four features that iPhone enthusiasts are eager to see return.

Firstly, Touch ID remains a favorite among users for its speed and reliability. While Face ID has become a hallmark of Apple’s security, many users appreciate the flexibility that a combination of Face ID and Touch ID could offer, particularly for those reluctant to use facial recognition.

Next, the introduction of 3D Touch with the iPhone 6s series offered a novel way to interact with devices through pressure-sensitive displays, enabling quick actions and previews. Although Haptic Touch replaced it, many still find 3D Touch faster and more convenient.

The removal of the headphone jack with the iPhone 7 sparked controversy, as many users prefer the simplicity and reliability of wired connections. Despite the popularity of wireless earbuds like AirPods, the return of the headphone jack could provide users with more audio options and reduce their reliance on wireless technology.

Finally, users have expressed frustration over the inability to completely disable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi from the Control Center. Instead of merely disconnecting from current networks, a straightforward on/off switch would offer more control, aligning with user preferences for managing connectivity.

These features, if reintroduced, could significantly enhance the iPhone experience, providing users with greater flexibility and choice.
