Earlier this year, Samsung Display introduced an innovative foldable OLED panel with Advanced Crease-Less technology, anticipated for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and its Ultra variant. A well-known leakster now suggests that the crease visibility in this series will be among the best in the market. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 series features a redesigned hinge, offering a more decisive opening and closing action. Unlike previous models that could remain open at various angles, this new hinge design allows the phone to snap fully open or shut, similar to some competitors’ foldables. This change, combined with the new OLED panel, is expected to significantly reduce crease visibility. Comparisons are already being made with the OPPO Find N6, known for its minimal crease. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 boasts a shorter, wider 7.6-inch display, while the Ultra version offers a taller, narrower 8-inch screen. Both models will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Camera setups differ, with the Z Fold 8 featuring dual 50MP cameras and the Ultra version including a 200MP primary camera with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
