Will the Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro miss out on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 globally?

Samsung is set to launch the Galaxy S27 Pro, a more compact and budget-friendly version of the Galaxy S27 Ultra, in early 2027. While it is expected to share many features with the Ultra model, it will lack the S Pen. Notably, Samsung intends to increase the presence of its Exynos chips in its smartphone lineup, which means that the Galaxy S27 Pro, along with the Galaxy S27 and S27+, will likely feature the Exynos 2700 in most regions. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 is anticipated to be exclusive to North America, with other areas like Europe, Africa, Asia, and Latin America receiving the Exynos variant. Despite past criticisms, Samsung has made strides in enhancing the performance and efficiency of its Exynos series. The Exynos 2700 is expected to utilize a second-generation 2nm process with improved heat dissipation technologies. Additionally, the Galaxy S27 Pro is rumored to include the Privacy Display feature from the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Samsung has yet to officially confirm these details.
