Are the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 specs leaked before the July launch?

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 is set to make its debut at the Unpacked event on July 22, 2026, with recent leaks highlighting significant enhancements. The new foldable device is reported to feature a 7.6-inch foldable QHD+ display and a 5.5-inch cover screen, both supporting a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, coupled with 12GB of RAM, and offers storage options up to 1TB. The camera system includes 50MP wide and ultra-wide lenses, along with dual 10MP front-facing cameras. A 4,800mAh battery supports the device, which weighs 201g.

Design-wise, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 is wider and shorter than its predecessor, the Fold 7, with an inner screen that is almost square, enhancing multitasking capabilities. Renders display the Fold 8 alongside the Fold 8 Ultra and Flip 8 in protective cases, although none are expected to feature the Privacy Display technology seen in previous models. With anticipation building, Samsung’s upcoming event promises to reveal more about the availability and pricing of this refined foldable.
