deltaVision has raised a €10.2 million seed round to move from development to industrial-scale production of its fluid-control systems for spacecraft. The round was led by KT Ventures and Valemount Capital, with participation from Futury Capital.
deltaVision: from development to industrial production
The company says it will use the funding to expand manufacturing capacity, targeting an annual output of 5,000 units. deltaVision also plans to pair this scale-up with some of the shortest lead times in the market to better serve satellite manufacturers and developers of reusable or refuelable spacecraft.
An integrated offering of critical components
deltaVision designs and manufactures valves, pressure regulators and electric pumps (ePumps) that control the movement, pressure and distribution of onboard liquids and gases. These components support essential functions such as propulsion and thermal management. By internalizing multiple stages of development and production, the company aims to accelerate manufacturing, improve product availability and strengthen quality control.
Reliability and operational challenges in orbit
Fluid-control components must withstand extreme temperatures, vibration and pressure; a failure can jeopardize propulsion, fuel management and ultimately mission success. deltaVision’s focus on critical parts addresses a growing industry need for robustness and availability across the space supply chain.
R&D, on-orbit servicing and reuse
Part of the funding will go to deltaVision’s R&D roadmap, including technologies to facilitate maintenance, refueling and reuse of on-orbit vehicles. Enabling on-orbit servicing and refueling could extend satellite lifetimes and reduce the need to launch full replacements.
Team and next steps
deltaVision reports a team of more than 125 employees covering the full value chain, and says it will hire additional staff to support higher production volumes and development of the next generations of its space technologies. This financing marks a clear shift toward a higher-volume commercial offering designed to meet rising demand for repairable, refuelable and reusable space systems.
