One UI 9.5: First design leaks reveal glassy UI and relocated Phone search

Tipster Fahad Ali Javed posted screenshots showing the first look at One UI 9.5 after flashing a leaked One UI 9.5 firmware meant for Samsung’s internal testing on a Galaxy S26 series phone. The images reveal a subtle, glass-inspired treatment on several interface elements, most notably a floating tab bar.

One UI 9.5 design details

The leaked screenshots show top header action buttons and widgets with shinier borders and a drop shadow effect that add a sense of depth to the interface. The floating tab bar appears glass-like in places, and the Phone app’s search icon has been moved from the top right corner down into the floating tab bar. Additional screenshots include a Now Brief widget, a Wi-Fi network credentials sharing tab bar, and a system sounds volume slider.

Earlier reports indicated that One UI 9.5 will also introduce an App Lock feature.
