A new leak suggests the Galaxy S26 FE could get My FanCam, the Galaxy AI feature that automatically tracks and centers a selected person in group videos. A video shared on TikTok by user ray522513 (via @tarunvats33) shows My FanCam running on the upcoming Fan Edition phone, indicating Samsung may not keep the feature exclusive to its latest foldables.
My FanCam debuted on Samsung’s recent foldable models — the Galaxy Z Flip 8, Fold 8, and Fold 8 Ultra. The feature uses Galaxy AI to detect people in a group shot, lets users select one person as the main subject, then automatically tracks and keeps that person centered. Users can also adjust framing to different aspect ratios for social platforms, allowing personalized clips to be created from a single group recording without re-recording.
My FanCam and One UI 9 rollout
Samsung is expected to ship the Galaxy S26 FE with stable One UI 9 out of the box, which could explain the presence of My FanCam on the device. This suggests other supported Galaxy S models and older Z series devices might receive the feature once they get a stable One UI 9 update. An internal One UI 9 build for the Galaxy S25+ has already confirmed support for My FanCam, while the feature is currently missing from the public One UI 9 beta for the Galaxy S26 series.
The timing of a wider rollout should become clearer when Samsung releases a stable One UI 9 for the flagship Galaxy S lineup, which is expected later this month or in early September.
