Samsung has released the second One UI 9.0 beta update for the Galaxy S24 series today, bringing bug fixes, stability improvements and several Galaxy AI–powered features that first appeared on the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 series.
Galaxy S24: what the One UI 9.0 beta adds
The update introduces Call Brief, which displays relevant information about the caller directly on the screen to support more effortless conversations. Alongside Call Brief, the software also brings My FanCam and other Galaxy AI capabilities previously rolled out on newer Samsung handsets.
My FanCam and how it works
My FanCam, first debuted with the Galaxy Z Flip 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8 series, can track a specific person in an existing video and automatically crop the footage to follow them. The feature is intended for situations where you want to focus on a single person within a multi-person clip, for example a child, a family member or a particular artist on stage.
