Things 3 Updated for iOS 27 With Siri AI and Spotlight

Cultured Code has released Things 3.24, adding full support for iOS 27’s new Siri AI and indexing users’ task databases in system-wide Spotlight search.

Things 3 and Siri AI integration

Things 3.24 lets users create to-dos by speaking naturally to Siri AI. After a to-do is created, the conversation can continue to append notes, start dates and alerts without opening the Things app. Siri AI can also draw on the app’s Spotlight index to fulfill requests.

Spotlight indexing, widgets and notification snooze options

The update indexes a user’s entire Things database in Spotlight so to-dos and projects can be surfaced through system-wide search. Users who prefer to keep task data out of system search can disable the feature in Things’ settings. Notifications gain additional snooze intervals — 15 minutes, one hour and three hours — plus a new “snooze until tomorrow” option. Cultured Code also adds an XL Portrait widget to view longer lists on the Home Screen and includes various other compatibility improvements for the new operating system.

Things 3.24 arrives alongside iOS 27, which Apple launches later today.
