Bidgely Announces 2027 EmPOWER AI Conference Series

Bidgely has announced the 2027 calendar for its EmPOWER AI conference series, expanding its initiative to enable secure, insight-driven artificial intelligence across the energy sector. The series is anchored by a flagship global summit in Chicago from May 11 to 13, 2027, featuring host utility PSEG Long Island, with regional forums scheduled for Calgary in February 2027 and an EMEA forum in October 2027.

EmPOWER AI 2027 lineup and goals

The 2027 EmPOWER AI program, themed “Shift and Build,” is designed to show utilities how infrastructure alone does not create value and how the intelligence layer on top of that infrastructure does. The conference aims to demonstrate how utilities can convert decades of siloed data moved into cloud data lakes and deployments of horizontal generative AI infrastructure into practical, bottom-line return on investment across three target outcomes: Shift the Experience, Shift Load, and Shift CapEx.

UtilityAI platform and workshops

Bidgely, a pioneer of AI-powered energy intelligence, said its annual conference series has established itself as the energy industry’s premier utility-first forum, backed by past hosts including OG&E, PacifiCorp and Avista. Attendees will hear about real-world deployments and learn how Bidgely’s UtilityAI platform drives tangible impact across electrification, demand-side management targeting, grid modernisation, affordability and integrated resource planning filings. Interactive workshops will also let utility leaders explore Bidgely’s flexible and secure “Build vs. Buy” deployment options across public cloud, private cloud and on-premises environments.
