Samsung has announced a global rollout of a Tizen 10.0-based firmware update for select Bespoke home appliances, expanding a U.S. update first deployed in May. The update brings the same software found on Samsung’s premium 2026 appliances to a range of Bespoke refrigerators and laundry products.
Tizen 10 updates for Family Hub refrigerators
Bespoke refrigerators equipped with cameras and AI Vision are a primary focus of the release. AI Vision is updated with Google Gemini integration, which will allow Family Hub fridges to better recognize and manage food items. The update is available for several Family Hub models, including the 21.5-inch and 32-inch refrigerators released between 2021 and 2025, as well as select 2025 models with 9-inch displays. Tizen 10.0 also delivers more personalized information throughout the day via features such as Now Brief and What’s for Today?.
Tizen 10 and Bixby enhance Bespoke laundry models
Samsung is also rolling out new firmware to 2024 and 2025 Bespoke AI Laundry Combo, Washer, and Dryer models. The update centers on Bixby, enabling Bespoke AI Laundry users to issue voice instructions and interact with their appliances more intuitively. Even for users who do not use Bixby, the firmware refreshes the UI on 7-inch Smart Screen models by introducing Easy Mode, a streamlined layout. Devices with Easy Mode can enable it by navigating to Settings > Display > Control Theme menu.
Samsung says it will continue expanding the update’s availability throughout September, with precise release dates varying by market, product, and model year.
