Google recently announced three new features for the Chrome web browser, and Samsung should swiftly adopt one of them: the ability to save a webpage’s scroll position when sending a tab from one device to another. Chrome now preserves the exact scroll position along with any partially filled-in forms or text boxes, so a user can continue the same page on another device exactly where they left off.
Saving scroll position across devices
When you send a webpage tab from Google Chrome on your phone to your laptop, Chrome saves the exact scroll position and any partially filled-in forms or text boxes. That lets you pick up browsing on your laptop (or any other device) at the same spot you left on the first device, removing the need to remember the position and scroll back to it manually.
Samsung adding the same capability would improve productivity and deliver more seamless integration across Galaxy phones and other devices by allowing continuity of browsing and form progress when a tab is moved between devices.
