Revoke approvals for Ethereum payment processor after security alert

Revoke approvals for Ethereum Payment Processor V2 and ApeChain Payment Processor V3 are being urged by Yuga Labs’ blockchain VP Quit after suspected security issues linked to NFT marketplace activity.

White-hat hackers transferred 3,832 NFTs worth about $1.5 million from hundreds of wallets to a secure address and said they plan to return the assets after the risk is resolved.

The warning covers both the Ethereum and ApeChain networks and urges users to remove contract approvals to protect their assets, recommending tools such as revoke.cash to revoke permissions.

Revoke approvals and recommended action

Quit specifically warned users to revoke approvals for the Ethereum Payment Processor V2 and ApeChain Payment Processor V3 smart contracts because of suspected security problems tied to NFT marketplace activity. The notice asks affected users to use services like revoke.cash to remove contract approvals and limit exposure while the issue is investigated.
