Samsung has not published per-model prices, cosmetic grades or a return window in its announcement, so buyers should check those details on each Amazon listing before purchasing. The $489 figure should be treated as a floor rather than a representative price for any specific model until individual listings are visible.
Samsung Certified Re-Newed listings and model choices
The Amazon launch includes seven models offered in two storage sizes each, for a total of 14 listings: Galaxy S24 FE (128GB, 256GB) in Graphite; Galaxy S24 (128GB, 256GB) in Onyx Black; Galaxy S24+ (256GB, 512GB) in Onyx Black; Galaxy S24 Ultra (256GB, 512GB) in Titanium Black; Galaxy S25 (128GB, 256GB) in Silver Shadow; Galaxy S25+ (256GB, 512GB) in Silver Shadow; and Galaxy S25 Ultra (256GB, 512GB) in Titanium Black. Color choice is limited to one shade per model.
Amazon is a new storefront for a program that Samsung has expanded over time: Samsung’s newsroom lists earlier Certified Re-Newed additions for the Galaxy S24 series in April 2025, the first Galaxy Z models in August 2025, and the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 on April 22, 2026. Listing the S-series on Amazon places the Certified Re-Newed program in front of shoppers who might not visit Samsung’s own store.
Battery, 147 quality checks and warranty
Samsung says each refurbished phone must pass 147 quality checkpoints to earn the Certified Re-Newed label. Devices are serviced by Samsung specialists and repaired using 100% Samsung genuine parts, and each unit receives a certified new battery — a change Samsung highlights as important because battery wear is the common reason used phones feel significantly older.
Packaging ships in 100% recyclable materials and includes a quick start guide, a data cable and an ejector pin; Samsung’s announcement does not include a charger. Every Certified Re-Newed phone carries a one-year limited manufacturer warranty under Samsung’s standard limited warranty terms.
Certified Re-Newed units are eligible for Samsung Care+, which Samsung says covers drops, spills and mechanical breakdowns. The company states accidental damage and mechanical failure claims are unlimited, with repair or replacement at Samsung’s discretion. A cracked screen or back glass costs $29 per claim, and same-day screen repair may be available in select areas depending on parts and technician availability. Samsung did not provide the monthly or upfront price for Care+ in this announcement.
