A leaked image shared on X by tipster Ice Universe offers a first look at the alleged Samsung W27, which is expected to be a more premium China-specific version of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and the successor to the Galaxy W26.
Samsung W27 appearance and lineage
The pictured device shows a blue finish with golden accents, including a camera island that appears to have a gold finish. Since Samsung introduced its first book-style foldable, the brand has released W variants for the Chinese market that serve as more premium versions of standard Galaxy Z Fold models. The Galaxy W26 was based on the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
There is no official information yet about the W27’s features or specifications. Following Samsung’s approach with previous W-series models, the device is likely to share the same hardware as the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, but no further details have been revealed.
