Unitree G1 production has reached approximately 10,000 to 20,000 units since its May 2024 launch, making it the best-selling humanoid robot globally, Unitree Technology founder Wang Xingxing said at the 2026 World Physical AI Conference and Unitree Partner Ecosystem Conference.
The conference, themed “Advancing Together, Co-creating Industry Value,” hosted more than 3,000 guests, featured a main forum area larger than 4,000 square meters and included over 40 exhibition zones, according to public information about the event.
On October 19, 2026, after the conference announcement, Unitree Robotics’ stock price rose more than 17% during trading and briefly exceeded RMB 500 per share; by the close it returned to a total market capitalization of RMB 200 billion and closed at RMB 495.92 per share.
Wang Xingxing, identified in public records as the founder of Unitree Robotics, currently serves as the company’s Chairman, General Manager and Chief Technology Officer. Unitree Robotics officially listed on the STAR Market on August 19, 2026.
Unitree G1 specifications and versions
The Unitree G1 humanoid robot was officially released on May 13, 2024 and was described by the company as a “humanoid agent and AI avatar,” with a starting price of 99,000 yuan. It is offered in two versions: the base G1 and the configurable G1 EDU.
The robot weighs approximately 35 kg, stands about 127 cm tall and is equipped with between 23 and 43 joint motors with a maximum torque of 120 N·m. It supports imitation learning and reinforcement learning, runs on the UnifoLM (Unitree Unified Large Model), and includes a 3D LiDAR and a depth camera. Battery life is approximately two hours.
