Asymptote Labs, a New York startup building runtime infrastructure for AI agents, announced it has raised $5.5 million in an oversubscribed seed round led by Tower Research Ventures on October 20, 2026. The company said the funding will support development of runtime infrastructure and visibility tools for enterprise AI agents.
The company is developing a shared telemetry layer designed to give enterprises real-time visibility, security, and control over AI agents operating in their environments. Asymptote Labs positions this layer as a way to normalize agent activity into a common data model for monitoring and control.
Asymptote Labs Beacon telemetry
Asymptote Labs’ core product, Beacon, is an open source telemetry layer that normalizes AI agent activity into a common data model, enabling organizations to secure and monitor agent behavior at runtime. The company is headquartered in New York City and is SOC 2 Type II compliant. Asymptote Labs was founded in 2026 by Justin D’Souza and Shukan Shah, both former early engineers at Doppel.
Funding and investors
The $5.5 million seed round was led by Tower Research Ventures, the venture arm of Tower Research Capital. Additional participants include Lytical Ventures, 1984 Ventures, and South Park Commons.
Planned use of funds
Asymptote Labs said it will use the new capital to expand its engineering team, accelerate product development, increase hiring, and scale its go-to-market operations. More information about the company is available at https://asymptotelabs.ai.
