A leak indicates the Galaxy S27 series is likely to launch within Samsung’s usual January–February window, with most components reportedly finalised as the devices enter production and a target unveiling in January that could slip to February 2027.
According to Korean tipster Lanzuk, mass production is expected to begin soon, leaving limited time for any last‑minute changes. Samsung has not announced an official launch date.
Galaxy S27 hardware uncertainties
Samsung is reportedly still weighing hardware options for the Galaxy S27 Pro and S27 Ultra. The company is considering LPDDR6 RAM and UFS 5.0 storage for those models; while those technologies promise faster memory and storage performance, their availability and rising component costs may affect Samsung’s final choices.
The processor situation remains unsettled for the Ultra. Reports suggest Samsung is undecided about using the Exynos 2700 in the Galaxy S27 Ultra. By contrast, the other three S27 models appear set to use the in‑house processor in some regions and the latest Snapdragon in others, but it is unclear whether the Ultra will follow the same regional split or run Snapdragon globally.
Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S25 on January 22 and the S26 on February 25 in previous years, underscoring the company’s recent pattern of early‑year launches. For now, the Galaxy S27 series appears on track for an early‑2027 reveal, pending an official announcement from Samsung.
