Apple’s technical specifications page for the HomeView smart home hub lists 15 built-in Apple apps and notes that, although the device has no App Store, it can display CarPlay-enabled audio and video apps from a paired iPhone.

The full list of built-in Apple apps on the HomeView is: Alarms, Calendar, FaceTime, Find My, Home, Intercom, Messages, Music, Podcasts, Reminders, Safari, Settings, Timers, Weather and World Clock.
CarPlay apps and developer confirmation
CarPlay-enabled apps available on HomeView from a paired iPhone include Apple Music Classical, Apple News, Apple TV and Audiobooks, along with supported third-party audio and video apps such as Spotify. The latest Apple Developer Program agreement confirms the availability of certain CarPlay apps and widgets on the HomeView.
HomeView is available to pre-order now and launches Friday, November 13.
