The Galaxy S26 FE and Galaxy Tab S12+ have been added to the Google Play Console, signaling that Samsung is preparing both devices for an imminent launch.
Galaxy S26 FE model numbers and variants
The Galaxy S26 FE appears under the codename r14s and is listed with five model numbers: SM-S741B, SM-S741N, SM-S741U, SM-S741U1 and SM-S741W. The presence of multiple variants in Google’s database points to a planned wide release across several markets.
Galaxy Tab S12+ Wi-Fi and 5G listings
The Galaxy Tab S12+ also shows up in the Play Console, with confirmed Wi‑Fi and 5G versions. The Wi‑Fi model is listed as SM-X840 with the codename gts12pwifi. Several 5G variants appear under the gts12p codename, including SM-X846B, SM-X846E, SM-X846N and SM-X848U.
Previous leaks indicate Samsung is preparing two Galaxy Tab S12 models — the Tab S12+ and the Tab S12 Ultra. The S26 FE is expected to follow the familiar FE formula, offering flagship-inspired features and Galaxy AI at a lower price than the main Galaxy S26 lineup.
Samsung has already confirmed both devices are due in the second half of 2026, with a possible September launch. The Google Play Console listings do not provide an exact announcement date but are a clear sign the handsets and tablet are getting closer to debut. Last year, Samsung introduced the Galaxy S25 FE and the Galaxy Tab S11 series at IFA in Berlin.
