Which Galaxy Phones Made the Top 10 in Q2 2025?

In the second quarter of 2025, Samsung demonstrated a strong foothold in the global smartphone market, with four of its Galaxy models making it into the top 10 best-selling list. The company’s diverse range of products, from budget-friendly options to premium flagships, has allowed it to appeal to a wide array of consumers.

The Galaxy A series, known for its balance of quality features at accessible prices, significantly contributed to Samsung’s success. The Galaxy A16 5G, A06 4G, and A16 4G claimed the 4th, 5th, and 7th spots, respectively, in the global sales rankings for this period.

Apple dominated the top three positions with its iPhone 16 series, although the iPhone 15 experienced a notable decline, dropping to 10th place. Meanwhile, the new iPhone 16e gained traction, particularly in Japan and the US.

Samsung’s premium Galaxy S25 Ultra, launched in January, maintained its popularity, securing the 8th position with 10.98 million units sold by the end of July 2025. The success is attributed to effective marketing of its GenAI features and a strategic focus on its flagship series.

In a bid to continue its momentum, Samsung recently introduced the Galaxy A17 5G and Galaxy A07 4G, successors to the A16 5G and A06 4G, respectively. These new models feature notable improvements, such as the A17 5G’s enhanced 50MP main camera with OIS, promising to keep Samsung competitive in future sales charts.
