Ando Raises $20M Seed to Build Agent-Native Messaging

Ando has raised $20 million in a seed round from Accel, Index Ventures, and Emergence Capital to expand its agent-native team messaging platform as it emerges from stealth.

Ando, a San Francisco-based messaging platform founded in 2025 by Sara Du, offers a specialized workspace where human users and AI agents collaborate as team members with shared identity, permissions and context. The platform is agent-agnostic, allowing teams to integrate various cloud agents into a shared communication workspace.

Funding, founding and plans

Participating investors in the round include Accel, Index Ventures and Emergence Capital. Ando plans to use the capital to further develop its agent-native messaging platform and expand its reach to organizations looking to integrate AI agents as full participants in their workflows.
