Apple Plans to Release 14 Products Through Early 2027

Apple will hold its next event on Wednesday, September 9 to unveil its latest iPhones and Apple Watches, and reporter Mark Gurman has shared a list of 14 products he expects the company to unveil between next week and early 2027. The list, which mixes Gurman’s reporting with other circulating rumors, covers updates across watches, home devices, and more.

Apple Watch updates

Apple Watch Series 12 is expected to include a faster S11 chip or a newer processor, longer battery life, and a ceramic case option. Fitness-tracking improvements may add a continuous heart-rate sensor able to run throughout the day, not just during workouts. The Apple Watch Ultra 4 is likewise expected to use a faster S11 chip or newer silicon and to gain similar fitness-tracking enhancements such as the continuous heart-rate sensor. The Ultra model may also receive additional satellite features, reportedly enabling Apple Maps via satellite and the ability to send and receive photos with Messages via satellite. Touch ID had been rumored for the next Apple Watches but appears to have been ruled out.

Home devices and Apple TV

The next Apple TV is said to include at least five new features: an A17 Pro chip or newer, an increase to 8GB of RAM for Apple Intelligence, Siri AI support, an Apple-designed N1 chip with Wi‑Fi 7 support, and an updated Siri Remote. The new set-top box is expected to retain a look similar to the existing model, with no major design changes reported.

The HomePod mini is reported to get a newer chip with Siri AI support, improved sound quality, Apple’s N1 chip with Wi‑Fi 7 support, a second-generation Ultra Wideband chip, and potentially new color options such as red; the device will reportedly look similar to the current model.

Apple is also said to be planning an all-new Home Hub: a smart home display running a new operating system with clock faces and widgets, featuring Siri AI, a 6‑inch to 7‑inch square display, an A18 chip or newer for Apple Intelligence, and FaceTime support. Two versions are reported: a tabletop model with a speaker base and a wall-mounted model.

Other categories: iPhones, iPads, Macs and headphones

Apple’s September 9 event is expected to focus on new iPhones and Apple Watches. The report also lists iPads, Macs and headphones among categories due for updates between the event and early 2027, but no specific technical details for those products were included in the summary provided.
