Samsung has revealed that twenty artworks from the collection of its late chairman, Lee Kun-Hee, are now available in the Samsung Art Store. This digital gallery is accessible on The Frame, The Frame Pro, and select QLED TVs, offering a glimpse into the richness of traditional Korean art to a global audience. Highlights from the collection include “Clearing after Rain on Mount Inwang,” a quintessential true-view landscape painting, and “Ten Symbols of Longevity,” which embodies wishes for health and long life. Other notable pieces are “Sound of Autumn” by Joseon Dynasty painter Kim Hongdo, and “Sun, Moon, and Five Peaks,” a royal court painting symbolizing the Joseon monarchy. The collection also features works such as “Banquet of King Yeongjo and Officials in Gyeonghyeondang Hall,” “Butterflies,” and “Five Emperors of the Five Cardinal Directions,” among others. These artworks aim to showcase the excellence of Korean art to Samsung consumers worldwide.
