BAE Systems breach disrupts U.S. federal bankruptcy courts

A cybersecurity breach at British aerospace company BAE Systems has disrupted services used by the U.S. federal bankruptcy court system after the Bankruptcy Noticing Center, a system operated by a U.S. subsidiary of BAE Systems, was affected. The incident made websites and systems that BAE operates for the judiciary unavailable.

Some of the affected sites and services include BNC.uscourts.gov, BankruptcyNotices.uscourts.gov, Notices.uscourts.gov and the National Creditor Registration Service.

BAE Systems coordinates with courts as services are restored

The Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts said it has communicated with the courts and is coordinating with BAE Systems while the company investigates the incident and works to restore operations.
