Can T-Mobile users now use satellite connectivity in Canada and New Zealand?

T-Mobile has expanded its satellite connectivity service, known as T-Satellite, to customers traveling in Canada and New Zealand. Previously, T-Mobile users relied on cellular roaming agreements in these countries, but now they can benefit from satellite coverage provided by Rogers Satellite in Canada and One NZ in New Zealand, both of which have partnered with SpaceX’s Starlink. The service, originally launched in July 2025, is compatible with iPhone 13 and later models. It automatically activates when no Wi-Fi or cellular connection is available, without requiring users to manually position their devices. The satellite service is included in T-Mobile’s Experience Beyond plans, or available for $10 per line for other plans. Additionally, Rogers and One NZ customers can use T-Satellite while traveling in the United States. T-Mobile plans to further expand its satellite connectivity to more locations globally, working with SpaceX and other roaming partners.
