Did Samsung unintentionally reveal the Galaxy A27 and its features?

Samsung has inadvertently unveiled the Galaxy A27 by briefly publishing its product page on its Czech Republic website. The page, which was quickly taken down, showcased the phone’s design and features ahead of its official launch. The Galaxy A27 is equipped with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display boasting Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It introduces the Infinity-O display design, a step up from the Galaxy A26’s Infinity-U display, and includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and stereo speakers.

The device features a triple camera setup on the rear, comprising a 50MP main camera, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies and video calls, a 12MP front camera is available, with both front and rear cameras supporting up to 4K video recording at 30fps.

Under the hood, the Galaxy A27 is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, marking an upgrade from the Galaxy A26’s Exynos 1380 or Exynos 1280, depending on the market. It offers 6GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB, expandable via a hybrid microSD slot.

Running on Android 16 with One UI 8.5, the Galaxy A27 is set to receive six major Android OS updates and six years of security patches. Notably, the phone is expected to support Samsung DeX, a significant enhancement for the Galaxy A series. It is fueled by a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging capability.

Connectivity features include GPS, 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The phone measures 7.7mm in thickness, 164mm in height, and 77.5mm in width. However, the ingress protection has been downgraded to IP64, offering dust resistance and splash protection, a reduction from the Galaxy A26’s IP67 rating.
