Does the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra feature a practical privacy display?

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra introduces a new feature designed for privacy-conscious users. This innovative privacy display allows users to perform tasks like initiating bank transfers or sharing private photos without worrying about nearby onlookers. The feature was recently showcased in an official animation found within Samsung’s stock apps. Clever leakers managed to access this animation by tricking the Samsung Tips app into believing it was operating on a Galaxy S26 Ultra, revealing a long-rumored feature expected to debut with the new flagship model. The privacy display functions by simulating a screen protector that narrows viewing angles, making it difficult for others to view private information. Initial settings for this feature were leaked in October 2025, and the Tips app has now also provided an official description.
