A South Korean report says Samsung’s Exynos 2700 outperformed Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 in internal tests, and that Samsung will reportedly use the Exynos 2700 in all Galaxy S27 models except the Galaxy S27 Ultra, which is expected to use the latest Snapdragon chip exclusively.

The tests were reportedly carried out by Samsung in China using the Xioami 18 Pro Max, one of the first phones to ship with Qualcomm’s latest flagship. According to the report, the Exynos 2700 recorded a Geekbench 6.5 CPU multi-core score of around 13,000, compared with an approximate 11,000 for the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 — roughly 20% higher for the Exynos.
The report also says the Exynos 2700 led by about 15% on Geekbench 7.0 multi-core performance. GPU scores for the Exynos are reported to be around 20% higher than the Snapdragon chip, indicating a notable improvement in graphics performance.
These figures have not been independently verified. The report notes that how the apparent performance gap will translate to real-world use — including thermal management and power efficiency — remains unclear.
