Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra batteries have received safety clearance from South Korea’s consumer product safety agency, Safety Korea, offering the first official look at the units ahead of the phones’ expected launch early next year.
Both battery packs are listed in Safety Korea under model numbers EB-BS957CBY (S27 Pro) and EB-BS958DBY (S27 Ultra), with certification numbers YU10899-26034 and YU10899-26036. Images of the units are included in the agency’s database, though they do not disclose exact capacity figures.
Galaxy S27 batteries: reported capacities and manufacturing
A prior leak indicated the Galaxy S27 Pro battery at 5,087 mAh and the Galaxy S27 Ultra battery at 5,534 mAh; Samsung could market these with typical capacities of 5,200 mAh and 5,800 mAh, respectively. Both batteries are shown in the filings as manufactured in China by Zhuhai CosMX Power.
Relative to the current models, the S27 Ultra’s battery would be roughly 16% larger than the Galaxy S26 Ultra, while the S27 Pro’s pack would represent about a 6% increase over the Galaxy S26+. Both phones are also expected to support 60W fast wired charging and 25W fast wireless charging.
The Safety Korea listings provide the first confirmed certification details and images for the S27 Pro and S27 Ultra batteries, though exact capacities and final marketing figures remain based on the earlier leak and Samsung’s forthcoming specifications.
